FRANCESCO PETRUCCELLI
The 'Untitled' artwork is part of a series of 3 exemplars, each one of them cast from the same matrix. Each exemplar differs from the others for percentage and quantity of materials and pigments used. Also, each exemplar is unique due to the differing results, which the process of manual casting implies.

In 2017 he won the art residency of the Goethe Institut in Bangalore (India). In 2018 he graduated as Meisterschüler in the class of Prof. Konrad at the Universität der Künste Berlin and won the Helmut Thoma Stiftung Prize for sculpture. In 2019 he exhibited his works in the Arsenale (Venice, Italy) as finalist for the Laguna Art Prize; in the same year he co-founded Intermission Collective, an association.
About the artist
Francesco Petruccelli, Italian sculptor and painter, has been working as cameraman for several years and graduated in Humanities in Milan before moving to Berlin in 2011, and devoting himself to art. Since then, he has been featuring his works in numerous exhibitions, in Germany and abroad.
